Role Specific Responsibilities
  • End-to-End AI Solution Development: Design, develop, and deliver backend components using Python, Azure AI Foundry, and frameworks such as LangChain, LangGraph, and Semantic Kernel.
  • Prototyping & Innovation: Rapidly prototype and build POCs to validate new AI architectures and technologies.
  • Azure Integration & Optimization: Integrate and optimize AI models, indexes, and vector databases within Azure-based solutions.
  • Advanced AI Methodologies: Implement advanced approaches such as prompt engineering, RAG, and Azure Cognitive Services integration.
  • Collaboration & Knowledge Sharing: Work with offshore and cross-functional teams to resolve backend and AI integration challenges.
  • Security, Compliance & Ethics: Ensure adherence to security, compliance, and data protection standards, focusing on ethical AI practices.
  • Continuous Learning & Technology Adoption: Research and adopt advancements in generative AI, Azure, and backend frameworks.
  • Client-Focused Delivery: Design, implement, and deploy AI solutions tailored to client requirements using Microsoft Copilot Studio and Azure AI.
About the teamThe Generative AI CoE is an internal team within Deloitte Technology Canada. GenAI CoE focuses on delivering end-to-end solutions that leverage Generative AI technology, including custom-built and commercially available products.Enough about us, let’s talk about you
  • 3+ years of hands-on Python development experience, focusing on scalable backend systems.
  • 3+ years working with Microsoft Azure (Azure Machine Learning, Azure Functions, Azure Data Factory, Azure Cognitive Services).
  • 2+ years developing Generative AI applications (LangChain, LangGraph, Semantic Kernel, Azure AI Foundry, Microsoft Copilot Studio).
  • Expertise in integrating, deploying, and optimizing AI models and indexes in cloud environments.
  • Solid understanding and application of SOLID principles and common software design patterns (Factory, Strategy, Observer, Singleton).
  • Strong knowledge of advanced AI methodologies (prompt engineering, RAG).
  • Ability to rapidly prototype, validate, and iterate on AI solutions.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and troubleshooting skills.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills for effective teamwork with global and cross-functional teams.
  • Commitment to ethical AI practices, data privacy, and enterprise security standards.
Total RewardsThe salary range for this position is $58,000 - $96,000, and individuals may be eligible to participate in our bonus program.
