- Assist experienced Test Engineers with completing DV activities for NPD programs.
- Manage and deliver DV for shelf-life testing of single-use products.
- Generate DV plans, protocols, and reports against product requirements.
- Design, build, and release engineering test methods and test fixtures to verify requirements.
- Design, build, and release automated test equipment to increase testing efficiency.
- Collaborating with Test Supervisor, oversee test execution by a team of Design Verification Testers
- Collaborate with design engineers and cross-functional teams to analyze product test failures and recommend solutions.
- Perform statistical analysis on test data to verify desired confidence and performance levels.
- Gain familiarity with applicable standards, e.g., ISO 10993, ISO 8600, and CSA IEC 60601-1
- Identify, communicate, and initiate improvements to the verification test system.
- Ensure completion of tasks within project schedule with high attention to detail
- Follow Verathon’s Quality Management System and documentation practices.
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering (mechanical, mechatronics, or similar)
- Typically requires minimum of 2 years of related engineering experience in a product development environment.
- Strong analytical foundation suited for problem-solving in an engineering environment.
- Hands-on experience with SolidWorks to design test fixtures and equipment.
- Hands-on experience with microcontrollers (e.g. Arduino) to develop automated test equipment.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to write concisely and accurately with meticulous attention to detail and clarity.
- Ability to work within tight deadlines with transparent communication.
- EIT from the EGBC preferred; ability and willingness to obtain a EIT license required *
- For applicants without an Engineer in Training or a Professional Engineer license, an alternative title will be used until a license is obtained. - Salary range - $66,040 - $93,742 (Compensation will vary based on skills, experience and location; it is not typical to be hired at or above the top of the salary range).
