KIT Recruitment has partnered with a dynamic and growing organization to hire an Accounts Payable Lead to oversee and strengthen the company’s end-to-end Procure-to-Pay operations.This role is ideal for a hands-on financial leader who enjoys improving processes, mentoring teams, and ensuring vendor payments are executed efficiently and accurately.Working closely with Procurement, Operations, Logistics, Treasury, and Finance, you’ll play a key role in optimizing payment workflows, strengthening vendor relationships, and driving automation within the AP function.Accounts Payable Lead – Details

Compensation From CA$55-70K

Monday thru Friday – ONSITE – 8am – 5pm

Accounts Payable Lead - Responsibilities

Lead and mentor the Accounts Payable team, providing guidance, training, and performance oversight
Oversee the full Procure-to-Pay cycle, including invoice processing, approvals, vendor payments, and reconciliations
Monitor AP aging to ensure timely payments and maintain clean vendor ledgers
Manage vendor relationships, resolve inquiries, and oversee regular reconciliations
Collaborate cross-functionally with Procurement, Operations, Logistics, and Finance to resolve discrepancies and streamline workflows
Support month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close, including accruals, reconciliations, and audit support
Prepare AP reports and KPIs to support payment performance and working capital insights
Drive process improvements, automation initiatives, and ERP enhancements

Accounts Payable Lead - Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration
5+ years of progressive Accounts Payable experience
1–3 years in a supervisory or team lead role
Strong knowledge of AP processes, internal controls, and financial close requirements
Advanced Excel skills and experience with Microsoft Dynamics AX / D365 or similar ERP systems
Strong leadership, analytical, and problem-solving skills
High attention to detail with the ability to manage priorities in a fast-paced environment
Process improvement mindset with interest in automation and operational efficiency
