TC Energy is currently hiring a permanent Pilot to support our operations across Canada and the USA, based in Bolton Ontario.As a key member of our flight operations team, you will play a critical role in delivering essential services to support TC Energy’s infrastructure. This position offers unique flying opportunities, including aerial support for Pipeline patrols, personal transport.What you’ll doAct as Pilot in Command or delegate as directed by the base manager or Chief PilotBe responsible for the operation and safety of the helicopter, and for the safety and security of all persons involved during flight operationsProvide liaison with the company’s lines of business in determining the flight operation of the helicopter to deliver the necessary expertise for helicopter-related workProvide safety briefings including instruction on aircraft safety/survival equipment location and techniques of use in the event of emergencyThorough preflight planning for each day’s patrol schedule. Overseeing safe configuration of aircraft, i.e. adherence to all up-weight load – limit specifications and proper loading and securement of cargoConduct administrative tasks at obligatory intervals such as recording flight duty times, aircraft document revision control, and expense and time sheet management. Help with hangar related tasks when neededParticipate in the Company’s Safety Management system by regularly reporting hazards and incidents when encountered and aiding in the corrective action follow up processSupport TC Energy’s mission to provide reliable pipeline transmission by:Accepting work away from base for up to 3-week periodsAdjusting regular work schedule upon short notice for emergency circumstancesFollowing TC Energy’s code of conduct, embracing inclusiveness and refraining from workplace harassmentMinimum QualificationsHigh School Diploma or equivalentValid Class 1 Aviation Medical CertificateValid Commercial (or higher) Canadian pilot license with minimum of 3000 flight hours on Turbine powered helicopters.
