Conduct digital necropsies at client feedlot sites using state-of-the-art technology
Collect and process biological samples for advanced laboratory analysis
Manage and distribute pharmaceuticals in compliance with industry regulations
Collaborate with veterinarians and registered veterinary technicians on clinical procedures and regulatory compliance
Utilize NIR technology for feed analysis, data collection, and entry
Perform data analysis and office administration tasks using specialized agricultural software
Support other internal teams and adapt to diverse responsibilities as needed
What you bring
Valid Class 5 driver's license and comfort with daily short to medium-distance travel
Proficiency in Windows-based software and agricultural data management systems
Familiarity with the agriculture industry and its unique challenges
Physical capability to lift and maneuver up to 50 lbs and work in various weather conditions
Flexibility to work beyond traditional 9-to-5 hours to meet project deadlines
Availability for scheduled rotations, including weekends
Strong independent work ethic balanced with excellent teamwork skills
Resilience and enthusiasm for year-round outdoor work
Great-to-haves
Experience working with cattle or other livestock
Background in agricultural science, veterinary technology, or related fields
Certifications in animal handling or agricultural practices
