Overview:We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Accountant to join our dynamic team in North York. This role is ideal for a professional with a strong background in public accounting and corporate tax, looking to make a significant impact through direct client engagement and leadership responsibilities.Key Responsibilities:

Engage in direct communication with clients to address and resolve complex accounting and tax issues.
Compile and produce accurate financial statements in accordance with established guidelines.
Ensure financial records are maintained in strict compliance with accepted policies and procedures.
Prepare corporate tax returns for various investment companies, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
Conduct preparation of Notice-to-Readers and participate in assurance work.
Supervise and mentor junior staff, fostering a collaborative and efficient work environment.

Qualifications:

CPA Designation is required.
Minimum of 3 years of experience in Canadian public accounting.
Strong expertise in accounting practices and corporate tax knowledge.
Exceptional organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
Outstanding communication and client service skills.
Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in all work.
Proficient teamwork skills and ability to work collaboratively.
Experience with TaxPrep, CaseWare, and Caseview is essential.
