
Accounts Receivable Manager

- Supervise AR staff, provide training and ensure performance standards.
- Collaborate with Sales, Events, and Front Office to resolve disputes and ensure guest satisfaction.
- Maintain effective communication with other departments regarding billing procedures and timelines.
- Review and process all direct billing requests and ensure accurate invoicing in a timely manner.
- Ensure all charges are properly documented and posted to guest and group accounts.
- Monitor event and group contracts to ensure correct billing in line with agreed terms.
- Evaluate credit applications and establish credit limits in accordance with company policy.
- Monitor accounts for timely collection of payments and follow up on outstanding balances.
- Communicate with guests, clients, and third parties regarding billing issues or disputes.
- Reconcile AR ledger to ensure all payments are accounted for and properly posted.
- Prepare regular aging reports and provide updates to the Finance leadership.
- Assist with month-end closing processes and provide supporting documentation for audits.
- Ensure compliance with internal controls, policies, and procedures.
- Support internal and external audits by providing necessary documentation and explanations.
- Maintain proper documentation of all credit approvals, payment plans, and collection actions.
- Prepare and lead monthly credit meetings.
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting preferred but not required with experience.
- Minimum 2–5 years of experience in Accounts Receivable, preferably in hospitality.
- Strong understanding of billing, credit, and collection practices.
- Familiarity with PMS and financial systems (e.g., Opera, Sage, etc.).
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel and financial reporting.
- Excellent attention to detail, organizational, and communication skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.Top of Form
