Position OverviewWe are looking for multiple truck drivers including, Water Truck, Truck & Pup. These Truck Drivers are critical to the successful operation of various construction projects at Professional Excavators & Construction Inc. These drivers will be responsible for transporting materials, maintaining site cleanliness, and ensuring the effective operation of assigned vehicles while adhering to safety protocols and project schedules.Who We Are:Professional Excavators & Construction Inc. is a leading heavy civil construction company dedicated to excellence in general contracting, earthworks, site services, concrete flatworks, and asphalt paving throughout Calgary and Alberta.   • Operate one or a variety of trucks, including water trucks, sweeper trucks, and truck & pup units, to support construction activities.
  • Safely transport materials to and from job sites while adhering to traffic regulations and company policies.
  • Perform routine vehicle inspections and maintenance checks to ensure safe and efficient operation.
  • Monitor water usage for dust control and maintain site cleanliness through the operation of sweeper trucks.
  • Assist crew members as needed during construction operations.
  • Maintain accurate records of delivery schedules, fuel usage, and maintenance activities.
  • Communicate effectively with site supervisors and team members to ensure smooth operations and adherence to schedules.
Requirements
  • Valid Class 1 or Class 3 Driver's License with a clean driving record is required.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience driving heavy trucks, preferably in a construction or industrial setting.
  • Familiarity with the operation of water trucks, sweeper trucks, or truck & pup units.
  • Strong knowledge of safety protocols and traffic regulations.
  • Physical stamina and capability to perform manual labor and assist with site operations as needed.
  • Ability to work flexible hours and in various weather conditions.
  • Good communication skills and the ability to work effectively within a team.
