About the RoleWe're looking for a high-performing, relationship-driven Luxury Sales Associate, Rugs – Commission Based to join our dynamic team at Elte. You'll collaborate with interior designers, architects, and discerning clients to help bring their vision to life. The role offers strong earning potential, creative freedom, and the opportunity to grow within a design-led, legacy-driven environment.Key ResponsibilitiesSales & Business DevelopmentMeet and exceed monthly and annual sales targets through strategic outreach, networking, and proactive client engagementCultivate new business opportunities with trade professionals (designers, architects, builders)Create and execute personalized sales plans aligned with Elte’s growth strategyClient Experience & Relationship BuildingAct as a trusted advisor to clients; listening, understanding, and offering curated solutionsDeliver a white-glove experience, from showroom consultation to post-sale follow-upConduct in-person meetings both in-showroom and on-site at client offices or project sitesOffsite & Showroom SalesSpend up to 50% of your time outside the showroom, attending events, site visits, and trade meetingsConfidently present Elte’s assortment to small groups and industry partnersSupport weekend and event sales initiatives one day per week (either Saturday or Sunday).Sales Strategy & CRMPrioritize and manage your sales pipeline using SalesforceTrack key metrics and continuously optimize your sales performanceEnsure the showroom environment is always polished and brand-alignedRequirementsExperience5+ years of proven success in a commission-based, client-focused sales environmentTop-tier performer with a track record of exceeding targetsSkills & AttributesExcellent communicator, confident presenting to clients and small groupsExpert relationship builder and solution-oriented problem solverHighly organized, self-motivated, and driven to succeedPassion for design, aesthetics, and helping clients express their styleTech & LogisticsProficient with CRM toolsValid driver’s license and access to reliable transportationAvailable for occasional weekend work and flexible to client schedulesNice-to-Have:Previous experience with Salesforce,Background in interior design, luxury retail, furnishings, or related industries is a strong assetWhy Join Elte?Uncapped earning potential through a performance-driven commission structureComprehensive health benefits, including medical and dental coverageAutonomy and ownership over your client relationships and sales approachPaid time off and recognized holidays, supporting work-life balanceOngoing career development and opportunities for professional growth within a design-driven organizationAbout ELTEAt Elte, we believe in considered design, timeless pieces that elevate the way people live.
