Job DescriptionWhat is the opportunity?We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced analytics professional to join our Cards, Analytics & Insights team as a Manager. In this key role, you will work closely with the Senior Manager and collaborate with various product teams within the Cards portfolio to identify common routines, reports, and analysis across the portfolio, and implement scalable solutions to enable product teams to focus on critical analysis.As a trusted business partner, you will provide consultative analytical support to key stakeholders across our Everyday Cards portfolio within retail segment. Additionally, you will play a critical role in automating a number of analytics processes, developing standardized key metrics reports for business review discussions and providing actionable insights to inform business decisions across the cards portfolio. Your expertise will help drive efficiency, reduce complexity, and enhance the overall analytics capabilities of our Cards business.What will you do?Develop and maintain a deep understanding of the Cards business, including products, customers, and market trends, to inform analytics solutions and recommendations.Identify and document common analytics routines, reports, and analysis across the Cards portfolio, and develop scalable solutions to simplify and standardize these processes.Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement initiatives such as Key metric development and standardization, Profitability summaries, External benchmark summarization, Regulatory Initiative SupportConduct exploratory analysis to identify trends, patterns, and correlations within large datasets, and develop recommendations to inform business strategiesPerform segmentation analysis to identify high-value customer segments, and develop targeted marketing strategies to drive business growthLeverage your technical expertise in programming languages such as SQL, SAS, and Python to analyze complex data sets and develop predictive models that inform business decisions.Communicate complex technical concepts and insights to non-technical stakeholders, including senior leaders and business partners.Provide occasional support to other Senior Managers within Cards Analytics in supporting data analysis on other portfolios (i.e. Commercial/Small Business)What do you need to succeed?
Must-have:At least two previous work term experiences in clients, product, marketing, or risk analytical or reporting roles.Experience in supporting credit card business and/or financial services industry is an asset.Instinctive curiosity and strategic mindset to drill into analytics and understand business drivers.Technical ability to apply knowledge to resolve complex business questions.Proven ability to communicate clearly and concisely to all levels of the company.Strong skills in presentation and storytelling.Nice-to-have:Knowledge in Hadoop, Data Visualization tools (Tableau, Power BI) and Big Data environment.Advanced degree in quantitative discipline.What’s in it for you?We thrive on the challenge to be our best, progressive thinking to keep growing, and working together to deliver trusted advice to help our clients thrive and communities prosper.
