Position Summary:CSN Koebel’s is seeking a licensed 310B Auto Body Technician to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for repairing and restoring vehicles to pre-accident condition, ensuring structural integrity, functionality, and a high-quality finish. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, adaptable, and able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced shop environment. This position reports directly to the General Manager.Primary Objectives of the Auto Body Technician:
  • Review work order and estimates of repair cost and plan work to be performed
  • Thoroughly examine collision damage (Review the complete vehicle exterior body parts, check all power accessories (door locks/windows/mirrors are operational) check that the dash panel has no warning lights on. Identify any prior damages overlooked on the QA checklist/ or related on the supplemental damage sheet.)
  • Performing structural and complete body repairs: Repair and replace front end components, body components, doors and frame and underbody components. (Assess, Repair or Replace interior and exterior parts, electrical components, and vehicle accessories, doors and frame and underbody components)
  • Straighten bent frames using frame and underbody pulling and anchoring equipment, Hammer out dents, buckles and other defects using blocks and hammers.
  • Welding on vehicles with the use of MIG welders and compression spot welders.
  • Fully dismantle the complete vehicle damaged areas including the blend panel parts in order to identify all hidden damages as early in the repair cycle as possible. For example remove damaged fenders, panels and grills using wrenches and cutting torch and bolt or weld replacement parts into place, repair or replace damaged windows, windshields and sunroof
  • Prepare repaired surfaces by filing, grinding, and sanding using both hand and power tools
  • Use soldering equipment or appropriate fillers to repair holes, dents, and seams
  • Follow OEM repair procedures and utilize all relevant data and guidelines
  • Inspect completed repairs to ensure quality standards are met and perform test drives when required
  • Accurately read and interpret repair estimates
  • Understand and follow automotive repair procedures and technical instructions
  • Work with a variety of materials including metals, plastics, glass, and electrical/mechanical components
  • Operate frame and measuring equipment as needed
  • Perform full vehicle disassembly and reassembly
  • Follow standardized production processes and shop procedures
  • Represent CSN Collision professionally and contribute to a positive team environment
  • Perform additional duties as assigned by management
RequirementsQualifications, Experience and other requirements:
  • Auto Body Collision and Damage Repairer - Licensed 310B or 310Q Technician
  • Technicians with I-Car training are favorable
  • Carrying, Lifting – 100 lbs, standing, sitting, walking, reaching
  • Valid G Class Drivers license required
  • 3 to 5 years of working Knowledge of Mitchell / Audatex
  • Must have own tools, safety footwear.

Schedule: Full time, Monday - Thursday 8am 5pm, Friday 8am - 4pm.
