- Coordinate shipping and processing of all materials, including non-scanner items.
- Eliminate past due demand, including PPSO orders.
- Collaborate with internal departments on all shipping functions.
- Investigate shipping issues and determine root causes of variances.
- Manage and ensure accuracy of shipping documentation (e.g., bills of lading).
- Oversee error lists and IR (In-Transit Receipt) lists for all plants.
- Coordinate trucking logistics with transportation providers.
- Report daily on materials from special lists; track shipment timeliness.
- Ensure all required documents are accurate and attached to outgoing materials.
- Maintain compliance with MSDS, customs, FedEx/UPS, Proforma, and shipping regulations.
- Grade 12 Education, related shipping/receiving experience considered an asset
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to manage and interpret large volumes of data
- Proven ability to multi-task and prioritize effectively in a fast-paced environment
- Collaborative team player with a proactive approach to problem-solving
- Skilled in using effective planning tools such as checklists and shortage lists to organize daily tasks
- Excellent internal communication skills, with a focus on maintaining professionalism and proper email etiquette
