
Technician, Maintenance

- Certified Industrial Millwright preferred; other trades (pipefitter, welder) considered
- 2+ years of hands-on industrial maintenance experience; chemical/process industry experience is an asset
- Knowledge of Ontario OHSA regulations; strong commitment to safety
- Experience with pump maintenance and pneumatic systems (preferred)
- Mechanical aptitude, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills
- Strong communication skills (verbal and written)
- Ability to work with Windows-based systems (Excel, Outlook, Word); SAP an asset
- Knowledge of electrical, welding, and confined space entry (preferred)
- Ability to safely lift up to 25 kg (55 lbs) as required
- Follow all safety rules and regulations at all times
- Maintain and repair plant equipment promptly to minimize downtime
- Conduct preventive maintenance and inspections (pumps, hoses, pneumatic systems)
- Assist with equipment change-outs, capital projects, and site upgrades
- Troubleshoot issues, determine corrective actions, and implement repairs
- Read and interpret blueprints and schematics to resolve equipment problems
- Source replacement parts and materials, and manage records in SAP (work orders, purchase requisitions, inventory)
- Communicate equipment status to plant personnel verbally updates, logs, and written notices (e.g. email).
