Pour réussir à accomplir ce travail, le candidat doit être en mesure d'exécuter chaque tâche essentielle de manière satisfaisante. D'autres tâches mineures peuvent lui être assignées :
- Inspecter les matières et les trier par pile ou les placer dans des conteneurs en fonction du type, de la taille, de l'état, de la coloration ou de la qualité du papier.
- Retirer les contaminants des papiers ou du sol.
- Empiler les boîtes et les palettes. Déverser les cartons et les bacs de matières.
- Alimenter le convoyeur avec des matières, telles que les vieux papiers.
- Nettoyer le convoyeur et la ligne de triage environnante. Veiller à la propreté de la zone de travail environnante.
- Lire les instructions du moniteur pour le démarrage de la machine et s'assurer que la machine fonctionne correctement et à une vitesse modérée.
- Suivre les procédures opérationnelles normalisées (PON) appropriées en tant que lignes directrices pour l'utilisation et l'entretien de l'équipement.
- Signaler tout facteur de sécurité et/ou tout dysfonctionnement de l'équipement aux travailleurs et au public.
- Assister aux réunions hebdomadaires/mensuelles sur la sécurité et les opérations.
- Effectuer d'autres tâches confiées.
