Their practice model is optimized for maximum efficiency, providing each physician with:A dedicated team of nurses & medical assistants5 exam roomsSurgical/procedural roomsA full suite of surgical and aesthetic lasersAn administrative team to manage scheduling, referrals, human resources, marketing & billingPhysicians can expect unsurpassed income potential, work-life balance, and the opportunity to practice in a state-of-the-art clinic. They will be able to address clients medical needs and aesthetic aspirations, empowering their patients to look and feel their bestRole OverviewProvide continued, specialized care to patients with skin related concerns. The Dermatologist's responsibilities include, but are not limited toPerform patient assessments, develop and implement treatment plans, and evaluate treatments for optimal resultsSubmit consultation notes to the referring family physicians for new patientsProvide follow-up care for existing patients and/or refer them to an internal general practitioner for continued careSupport the nursing team in delivering effective patient care through coachingParticipate in training and education opportunitiesAdhere to company policies and protocolRole QualificationsMedical Degree with specialist training in Plastic Surgery or Dermatology with additional training in Mohs SurgeryCertification with the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of CanadaPhysicians with training and certification from a CPSA approved jurisdiction may also be consideredEligible for licensure with the College of Physicians and Surgeons of AlbertaNewer graduates welcome to applyLocated in either Calgary or Edmonton, Alberta, this role offers the opportunity to live and work in one of Canada's most dynamic cities.
