In your world, equipment reliability is everything and you know that a single unexpected failure can lead to expensive downtime, lost production, and even safety risks. Your work helps prevent all that, so let's talk about what you will do:
- Conduct vibration data collection and analysis using Emerson CSI 2140 analyzers and AMS Machinery Manager software.
- Perform routine condition monitoring on rotating equipment (pumps, motors, compressors, gearboxes, etc.).
- Diagnose mechanical faults such as unbalance, misalignment, bearing defects, and resonance.
- Generate detailed reports and recommend corrective actions based on vibration analysis.
- Maintain and calibrate vibration monitoring equipment.
- Collaborate with maintenance and operations teams to schedule and execute corrective maintenance.
- Support reliability improvement initiatives and root cause failure analysis (RCFA).
- Maintain accurate records of equipment condition and maintenance history.
- Proficiency with Emerson CSI hardware and AMS software is required.
- Extensive experience in vibration analysis or predictive maintenance.
- Certification in Vibration Analysis (ISO Category I or II preferred).
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and reporting abilities.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Experience with other predictive technologies (infrared thermography, ultrasound, oil analysis).
- Familiarity with CMMS systems (e.g., SAP, Maximo).
- Knowledge of reliability-centered maintenance (RCM) principles.
- Associate’s degree or technical diploma in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Maintenance, or related field would be an asset.
