- Sampling and Testing: Perform field sampling of soil, groundwater, soil vapour, and indoor air. Oversee and supervise subcontractors during borehole drilling, monitoring well installation, and soil excavation. Conduct soil logging and subsurface classification to determine geological conditions. Operate field instrumentation (e.g., PID, interface probes, water quality meters, data loggers) and ensure that sampling aligns with regulatory standards and best practices.
- Project Management: Contribute to project execution by coordinating fieldwork schedules, procurement of vendors, subcontractor oversight, and logistical support. Work within established project plans to ensure timely and efficient completion of deliverables.
- Environmental Impact Assessment: Contribute to the execution of environmental site assessments (Phase I and II ESA) and other evaluations to identify and document environmental impacts. Conduct site inspections and environmental compliance audits in accordance with relevant standards and frameworks.
- Solutions Analysis: Interpret complex environmental data and site information to identify viable solutions for site management, remediation, and risk mitigation. Support senior consultants in developing technical strategies based on regulatory obligations and field findings.
- Insights and Reporting: Assist in preparing a wide range of technical documents, including Phase I/II ESA reports, remedial action reports, compliance documentation, monitoring summaries, and excess soil management plans.
