- Develop and implement the overall procurement strategy in alignment with operational priorities and business objectives.
- Lead, develop, and engage procurement and category management teams, while establishing strong governance over purchasing processes across operations.
- Define and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to track results, performance, and continuous improvement.
- Negotiate strategic agreements with key suppliers and ensure the performance and effectiveness of long‑term partnerships.
- Establish robust supplier selection, evaluation, and monitoring processes.
- Optimize procurement costs while ensuring quality, reliability, and continuity of supply.
- Work closely with production, quality, and logistics teams to anticipate needs and resolve supply‑related issues.
- Manage supply chain risks, including source diversification, business continuity, regulatory compliance, and ESG criteria.
- Actively contribute to continuous improvement initiatives, operational innovation, and digital transformation projects.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and internal policies.
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in procurement, including at least 5 years in a leadership role, ideally within a manufacturing environment.
- University degree in Operations Management, Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office, with expert‑level Excel skills.
- Strong knowledge of business intelligence (BI) and AI‑enabled tools.
- Solid understanding of process optimization methodologies such as Lean and Six Sigma.
- Experience in financial management and structured problem‑solving.
- Strong capabilities in negotiation, strategic leadership, and change management.
- Proven ability to operate effectively in a dynamic, complex environment.
- Excellent communication skills and a demonstrated ability to manage strong internal and external business partnerships.
- Professional proficiency in both English and French (spoken and written) is required, with French being essential for day‑to‑day operations and collaboration with teams, partners, and stakeholders based in Quebec.
