You will require insight, meeting and anticipating the program's desired objectives as well as artistic, dramatic and other intentions. You will also be responsible for coordinating the installation and verification of the equipment under your control as well as the transfer and editing of the collected material. You will be primarily assigned to the Moncton newsroom.Please note that our team works on variable shifts that can be scheduled throughout the week and on weekends. This is an on call position.This role requires full-time on-site presence.We are looking for a candidate with the following:Qualifications:College Diploma in Television Production and Postproduction Techniques or any relevant diplomaMinimum two (2) years' experience in the TV production and/or filming programs, news and/or remote broadcastSkills:Filming and digital production experienceVery good non linear editing experience (Avid an asset)Demonstrated knowledge in editing, audio, lighting, camera work, and computersExcellent command of spoken and written FrenchGood knowledge of English, an assetAble to work effectively on a teamCreativity and self-starterAble to make quick, independent decisionsKnowledge of, and interest in current events in the regionValid driver’s license, as well as a driving record that meets the criteria of CBC/Radio-Canada’s insurerAvailable to travel during working hoursSelected candidates will be tested as follows:InterviewCandidates may be subject to skills and knowledge testing.We thank all applicants for their interest, but only candidates selected for an interview will be contacted.CBC/Radio-Canada is committed to being a leader in reflecting our country’s diversity.
