Responsibilities:
Industrial Cleaning:
See to the assembly and disassembly of equipment according to the washing and sanitation program;
Perform cleaning steps according to equipment and workplace washing and sanitizing procedures;
Inspect cleaned equipment and communicate any non-conformances for corrective action and follow up on corrections;
Ensure the good condition and operation of all equipment and work tools used in washing and sanitation operations;
Communicate any equipment non-conformances to their immediate supervisor;
Perform various tasks related to sanitation.
Health and Safety:
Maintain work tools and report any functionality issues to the supervisor;
Ensure compliance with and enforcement of the company's Occupational Health and Safety policy;
Maintain a clean and safe workspace.
Required Qualifications:
Hold a high school diploma (DES)
(1) to (3) years of agri-food safety experience (an asset);
Training in washing and sanitation (an asset);
Knowledge of WHMIS. (an asset)
