Automotive PainterWe are seeking a skilled Automotive Painter to join our collision repair team. The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing vehicle surfaces, applying automotive paint finishes, and ensuring high-quality results that meet manufacturer and dealership standards.Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare vehicle surfaces for painting by sanding, masking, and cleaning
  • Mix and match paint colors to manufacturer specifications
  • Apply primers, base coats, and clear coats using spray equipment
  • Repair minor surface imperfections prior to painting
  • Ensure proper blending and color matching with existing paint
  • Inspect finished work to ensure high-quality standards
  • Maintain painting equipment and work areas
  • Follow safety procedures and proper handling of paint materials
Requirements
  • Experience as an Automotive Painter or Auto Body Painter
  • Strong knowledge of automotive paint systems and refinishing techniques
  • Experience using spray guns and paint booth equipment
  • Ability to accurately mix and match colors
  • Strong attention to detail and quality workmanship
  • Valid driver's license
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience working in an auto body shop or dealership collision center
  • Certification in automotive refinishing or related training
  • Experience with modern paint systems and refinishing technologies
