Description
  • Uphold the highest service standards and consistently exceed guest expectations.
  • Collaborate with FOH/BOH management teams to achieve human resources objectives, including recruitment, orientation, scheduling, and performance reviews.
  • Enforce company policies and procedures effectively.
  • Set and accomplish operational objectives for all outlets, implementing plans to enhance productivity, quality, and service standards.
  • Oversee private dining events in coordination with the Events and Private Dining team.
  • Resolve associate and guest conflicts through service recovery and initiate changes as needed.
  • Collaborate with BOH Management Team to control costs, focusing on portion control and waste reduction.
  • Estimate food and beverage consumption and manage supplier orders.
  • Maintain budget and employee records, oversee payroll, and ensure compliance with legal regulations.
  • Arrange equipment maintenance and repairs when necessary.
  • Foster the growth and sales of the restaurant through marketing initiatives.
  • Regularly conduct P&L reviews to analyze financial metrics.
Requirements
  • Minimum 3 years of experience leading a high-volume, fine-dining restaurant.
  • Reinforces the restaurant's brand & vision through innovative, thoughtful service and beverage/menu development.
  • Exceptional leadership and management skills.
  • Strong understanding of restaurant operations and financial management.
  • Outstanding customer service and communication abilities.
  • Strong knowledge of food and beverage trends.
  • Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills.
  • Familiar with purchasing and sanitation procedures, as well as standard food and beverage equipment maintenance
  • Ability to work under pressure and adapt to a fast-paced environment.
  • Experience in opening a new venue is an asset
  • Comfortable dealing with the media, public speaking, and VIP groups
  • Proficiency in all Microsoft Office applications
  • Familiarity with restaurant management software
  • Level 1 and Level 2 Food Safe Certification
  • Must be legally entitled to work in Canada
