Could It Be You?We are seeking a highly experienced and strategic Delivery Quality Assurance Lead to join our dynamic team at Community Trust Company in Toronto. In this pivotal role, you will be instrumental in ensuring the highest quality of our delivered solutions by leveraging cutting-edge technology, optimizing business processes, and implementing robust testing tools. This position requires a visionary leader with a proven track record in establishing and executing comprehensive end-to-end test strategies across complex delivery workstream programs.As the Delivery Quality Assurance Lead, you will be responsible for executing a comprehensive end to end testing strategy, driving a culture of quality throughout our delivery organization and providing approvals to proceed to production environments. You will work cross-functionally, bridging the gap between technical teams and business stakeholders, to ensure that all solutions not only meet technical specifications but also drive desired business outcomes.Need more details? Keep reading…Strategic Leadership: Develop, define, and execute an overarching, end-to-end quality assurance and testing strategy for all delivery workstream programs, aligning with business objectives and technical architecture.Defect Management & Quality Ownership: Be accountable for significantly reducing post-release defects, striving for a low defect rate across all delivered solutions. Establish clear guidelines for and own the definition of priority and severity of identified defects, ensuring timely and appropriate resolution.KPI Definition & Reporting: Define, track, and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) for the QA function, demonstrating the effectiveness of testing efforts and their impact on overall delivery quality and business outcomes.Team Leadership & Mentorship: Lead, mentor, and guide a team of QA Engineers, ensuring adherence to best practices in automated testing and fostering a culture of continuous improvement and technical excellence. Drive the adoption of standardized automation frameworks and tools.Test Automation Excellence: Champion and ensure the implementation of robust automated testing solutions across all stages of the software development lifecycle. You are if you…Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field. Master's degree preferred.10+ years of progressive experience in Quality Assurance, with at least 3-5 years in a senior leadership or management role overseeing QA teams.Demonstrated expertise in designing and implementing end-to-end test strategies for large-scale, complex enterprise systems and programs.Proven accountability for achieving low defect rates in production environments and strong experience in defining defect priority/severity and managing the defect lifecycle.Extensive hands-on experience with various automated testing frameworks and tools (e.g., Selenium, Playwright, Cypress, Postman, JMeter, LoadRunner) and a deep understanding of their application in CI/CD pipelines.Proven experience with data governance principles and practices as they relate to testing, including test data management, data privacy, and data quality assurance.Strong understanding and practical experience with identifying and testing complex edge cases, boundary conditions, and negative scenarios.Experience with performance testing, security testing, and usability testing principles.Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen eye for detail.Superior communication and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively articulate complex technical concepts and quality insights (including KPIs) to both technical and executive audiences.Proven ability to lead, motivate, and develop high-performing QA teams.Experience working in Agile/Scrum and DevOps environments.Familiarity with cloud platforms is an asset.Sounds like you?
