- Full brand ownership from strategy, innovation, planning, consumer communications and performance management for the Tostitos brand in Canada
- Responsible for leading long-term strategy as well as in-year planning including AOP (annual operating plan)
- Translates deep understanding of consumer and market insights, innovation & portfolio strategies to build demand and drive share growth and effectively partner with the customer development organization, DSD field sales organization, finance partners, R&D, and supply chain to deliver results.
- Responsible for leading/overseeing key Equity and Activations: communications, programming, media strategy, packaging, and brand building activations from briefing to execution across key priority campaigns and innovations.
- Responsible for the robust innovation pipeline strategy development and oversight on strategic commercial execution.
- Accountable for Tostitos A&M, maximizing ROI behind initiatives and making trade-offs to fuel growth
- Leads an integrated team of award-winning agency partners to develop world-class consumer communications that deliver desired brand health and consumer impact
- Collaborates across boundaries internally and externally with different functions and teams, establishing strong partnerships with cross-functional leaders
- Manage, coach and develop direct reports and play a broader leadership role within the total FLC marketing department
- Minimum of Bachelor’s Degree (Business degree preferred).
- 5+ years of relevant marketing experience
- Exceptional marketing capability and proven track record of delivering results through best-in-class collaboration, consumer mindset, creative excellence, complex problem solving
- Consumer insight-driven marketing acumen with strong large scale integrated communications experience and integrated agency team management
- Inspirational leader that exhibits a positive outlook and “can do” attitude in accomplishing goals even when dealing with obstacles
- Solid strategic, analytic and execution skills with a track record of delivering strong growth and ability to expertly manage multiple competing projects, deliverables and stakeholders
- Self-starter with a high sense of urgency and entrepreneurial spirit.
- Strong leadership skills, exceptional collaboration skills and high ability to influence and build strong networks (key stakeholders include Sales, Insights, Supply Chain, Finance, R&D, Agency Teams, US/Global)
- Ability to anticipate issues and resolve them based on sound business judgement
- Demonstrates and champions innovative ideas that position the brand for leadership in the marketplace
