The primary objective of the Incumbent will be to work as a member of the Technology Services Teams working closely with Business stakeholders, Project Managers, ISManagement to understand processes and business requirements and translate them into Environment technology solutions.Key Responsibilities:Perform the Linux and Middleware system lifecycle management, including system upgrade, capacity planning and disaster recovery test on legacy RedHat Linux and OpenShift environments.Install, configure, and maintain Linux servers (RHEL) in physical and virtual environment (VMware)Implement and maintain Linux system security, including OS patching, hardening, and vulnerabilities remediation by following the standard proceduresAutomate routine administrative tasks using Ansible or Python scripting for Linux system deployment, administration and supportMonitor Linux system performance and troubleshooting issues across infrastructure systems and applicationsCollaborate with solution development and application teams to ensure comprehensive test plans are developed and testing scripts are maintained from business specifications and ensure that defects and fixes across prioritized systems are documented, tracked and closed in conjunction with business prioritiesMaintain documentation for system deployment, builds, procedure and configurationManage and support VEEAM backup system for Linux servers and Oracle databasesParticipate in on-call rotation and provide after-hours support for critical systemsWhat We’re Looking ForPost-secondary degree in computer science, information technology, or computer engineering.3+ years of hands-on experience in RedHat Linux system administrator2+ years of working experience as a VMware system administrator1+ years of hands-on experience with RedHat OpenShift cluster administration1+ year of VEEAM experienceStrong experience with RedHat Enterprise Linux (RHEL v8 and v9), or other enterprise Linux distributions.Working knowledge of RedHat Satellite and Identity Management (IdM) administration and supportWorking experience with VMware vSphere, vCenter server, DRS, HA, or other virtualization platformsWhy Join UsCompetitive compensation, benefits and pension planCareer development and advancement opportunitiesA culture that celebrates innovation and collaborationFlexible work options and wellness programsPre-Employment RequirementsAll offers of employment are conditional upon the successful completion of reference checks and background verification in accordance with company policy.
