This role supports the deployment of a training simulator environment as part of a large-scale digital infrastructure initiative. The successful candidate will work hands-on with enterprise-grade networking and workstation systems, ensuring seamless integration into an existing corporate network. This position is suited to an intermediate-level professional with strong experience in network configuration, infrastructure deployment, and independent execution within enterprise environments.Duties & Responsibilities
- Configure and deploy enterprise network infrastructure to support a simulator environment
- Implement networking solutions based on architecture and design documentation
- Support deployment and integration of workstation and server environments
- Collaborate with internal architecture and infrastructure teams
- Configure and manage network hardware including switches and routing platforms
- Ensure connectivity and performance across enterprise systems
- Troubleshoot and resolve network and infrastructure issues during deployment
- Assist in the setup of edge networking for enterprise workstations
- 5-7 years of experience in enterprise infrastructure and networking environments
- Hands-on experience configuring network hardware and connectivity
- Experience with enterprise networking vendors (e.g., Cisco, HP, Arista or equivalent)
- Experience with enterprise switching and routing platforms (e.g., Cisco Catalyst or equivalent)
- Experience supporting workstation and server environments in large-scale enterprise settings
- Experience with server hardware (e.g., Dell Technologies or equivalent)
- Experience with edge network deployment for enterprise workstations
- Experience working on infrastructure implementation projects
- Relevant certifications (considered an asset)
- Experience working within complex corporate network environments
This is a 6-month contract opportunity with potential for extension or conversion to a permanent role. The position is primarily onsite in Richmond, BC. Candidates must be able to work independently with minimal supervision.
