In this strategic role, you'll guide project managers, contribute to business development, and oversee internal delivery processes and operations.This position is ideal for a people-first leader with a consulting mindset and deep IT delivery experience who’s ready to take ownership of outcomes and empower high-performing teams to drive impact for public and private sector clients. Responsibilities:Lead with impact: Guide our Canadian delivery team by mentoring and coaching project managers and key delivery professionals.Engage directly with clients: Ensure successful outcomes by understanding customer goals, providing strategic guidance, and translating operational needs into effective technology and service solutions.Drive delivery excellence: Manage and scale delivery processes, oversee team formation, and implement the right methodologies and practices for each engagement.Shape the future: Participate in business development efforts by contributing to proposals, client conversations, and contract reviews.Foster collaboration: Align internal teams across functions and geographies, promote transparency and trust, and maintain strong vendor partnerships.Balance the business side: Own financial tracking, project forecasting, and staff allocation to ensure performance and predictability. Qualifications:Required Skills & Experience10+ years of experience in information technology delivery.5+ years of experience leading people and managing teams.5+ years of sales engineering experience.Proven experience delivering consulting and software-driven projects.Strong financial acumen with experience in forecasting and budget oversight.Hands-on knowledge of digitalization, software integration, cloud/data engineering, or AI/ML project delivery.Ability to communicate clearly through documentation, planning, and client updates.A leadership approach grounded in ownership, transparency, and autonomy.Nice to HaveExperience with PMO or internal delivery process development.Experience managing cross-functional teams across time zones and geographies.Background in digital consulting, research, or advisory work.Sector breadth across government, healthcare, finance, manufacturing, or other regulated domains.Previous experience in the Canadian Public Sector (or adjacent organizations) is highly desirable.Why Join Nortal?
