Job Description:Corporate ParalegalThe RoleThis position is a technical, transaction-heavy role that prioritizes complex corporate maneuvers over routine records maintenance. The successful candidate will manage a high volume of files within a compressed work-week structure, requiring a focus on efficiency and high-level structural planning.Technical Responsibilities1. Corporate Transaction Management
  • Entity Structuring: Lead the execution of incorporations, continuations, and amalgamations.
  • Financial & Tax Planning Support: Manage the procedural aspects of corporate rollovers, dividend declarations, and share structure planning.
  • File Specialization: Focus energy on active transactional files and strategic reorganizations rather than routine corporate record-keeping.
2. Practice Operations
  • High-Volume Execution: Navigate a fast-paced environment with a heavy file load while maintaining rigorous standards of accuracy.
  • Project Ownership: Take full responsibility for the lifecycle of corporate transactions from initial drafting to final implementation.
  • Time Management: Operate effectively within a compressed work week, requiring high productivity and the ability to meet tight deadlines.
Requirements:Candidate RequirementsProfessional Background
  • Experience: Established career as a Corporate Paralegal with a demonstrable track record in corporate transactions.
  • Functional Knowledge: In-depth understanding of the legal and procedural requirements for rollovers, amalgamations, and complex share restructurings.
