- Provide an architectural conception of the solution regarding business, application, information and technology domains via the solution architecture design document.
- Build solution architecture for the global services ecosystem and its interfaces to connected systems.
- Implement and integrate technology solutions for global trade services, including broker connectivity, customs document management, trade compliance, import/export documentation management, global trade laws and regulation, and global trade services analytics.
- Design and manage financial systems architecture, including budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting tools. This involves ensuring data accuracy, security, and compliance with financial regulations.
- Ensure that all technology solutions comply with legal and regulatory requirements specific to global trade services and finance.
- Partner with the organization to understand organizational and departmental strategy, and agree on information systems solutions to meet the needs.
- Estimate costs and prepare business cases for IT solutions, considering infrastructure, licences, cyber security, development and support.
- A bachelor’s degree in computer science, information systems or a related field, or equivalent project-related experience.
- At least ten years of experience in IT, with at least five years in information system design.
- In-depth experience designing and implementing information solutions, with a specialization in one core enterprise systems area (e.g. Global trade services, Finance, Legal).
- Hands-on experience implementing SAP S/4, SAP GTS, SAP ECC, Success Factors, Ariba.
- Strategic business acumen and understanding of organizational strategy and the ability to design information systems to deliver that strategy.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain technical concepts to lay audiences. Some experience working with board-level stakeholders.
- A team player with experience leading and collaborating across teams to ensure successful delivery of solutions.
- Strong conceptual and analytical skills, demonstrated outside-the-box problem-solving skills and the ability to develop solution architecture designs.
- Knowledge of enterprise architecture methodologies such as TOGAF with Archimate or the equivalent.
- Bilingualism (French and English); knowledge of English is required because you will be representing BRP in negotiations with vendors in the US and interacting with stakeholders around the world.
