- Develop, implement and manage product or service acquisition and supply management strategies that drive increased value for internal clients in terms of reduced costs, improved quality, service, technology and processes.
- Draft and negotiate agreements for products and/or services according to department and Corporate Legal guidelines/template, including:.
- Maintenance, non-disclosure, master services, statements of work and service level agreements.
- Interface effectively with key stakeholder management and staff to understand and support acquisition requirements and timelines.
- Responsible for creating and maintaining strong partnerships with key suppliers and possessing a high-level awareness of supplier business with Transdev.
- Perform or direct research regarding industry trends, products, pricing and tools. Conduct lease vs. buy analysis of major purchases to determine most economical method of acquisition
- Ensure vehicle supplier contracts include appropriate terms and conditions to support operational warranties
- Support Procurement in the negotiation of the warranty terms with key external suppliers
- Assist to develop the materials budget including spend analysis and forecasting each quarter for EAC purposes
- Manage supplier contracts during the defects liability period, ensuring availability of required spare parts to support depot operations
- Provide leadership and oversight to the Materials Coordinator and Stores Technician reporting into this role

- Annual salary of $62,000–$72,000

- You have relevant post secondary education, with Materials Management Diploma preferred
- You have strong experience in contract management and negotiation
- You are fluent in English with excellent written and verbal communication skills
- You have strong skills in in word, excel and other database applications
- Must be legally entitled to work in Canada
