- Compensation: $28.70/per hour
- Assigns and manages the duties/activities of the departmental personnel to ensure the timely production of quality food products for our customers.
- Maintains good employee relations through ongoing communication, counseling, and coaching. Provides feedback regarding employee performance via-one-on one conversations, departmental meetings, etc.
- Administers disciplinary procedures after thorough and immediate investigation of infractions. Ensures all disciplines meet the criteria of the Progressive Discipline Policy.
- Maintains their respective department in compliance with the Company safety policies and applicable health and safety legislation; issues discipline when compliance to such rules are violated; answers hazard reports; conducts accident investigations; handles work refusals; administers first aid and completes applicable reports; ensures workers abide by health and safety rules and regulations.
- Assists in the training and orientation of new employees to ensure full understanding of Company expectations and policies.
- Completes necessary reports, paperwork, etc. to ensure effective communication of HACCP/SQF requirements, production expectations, and labour efficiencies.
- Review & analysis of production Conformance, product measurements by line operators (with QA Technicians). Enforce GMPs, food safety and HACCP programs compliance and quality standards with plant employees.
- Develop corrective actions in response to complaints from consumers with the help of plant QA. Review Food safety non-compliance from plant inspections, externa and internal audits and provide corrective actions.
- In the absence of the Production Supervisor, the senior production supervisor will cover this position. In the absence of the senior production supervisor, this position will be covered by the production manager.
- Review and effect any necessary actions regarding the following Food Safety and Quality document
