By executing key initiatives, the People Experience Coordinator is instrumental in supporting delivering exceptional patient care through nurturing an exceptional people experience, solidifying WRHN as an employer of choice.Key Accountabilities & Responsibilities:The Surgical Business Analyst plays a critical role in optimizing surgical services by providing data-driven insights to improve OR utilization, throughput, access to care, and operational performance, supply chain and business proposals. Working closely with OR leadership, surgeons, perioperative teams, and decision support, the analyst translates clinical and operational data into actionable intelligence that supports planning, forecasting, performance improvement, and strategic initiatives. They identify opportunities to enhance revenue through new volumes, cost containment (inventory and cost-per-case reduction), loss/waste control, enhanced utilization (labour, equipment and materials), or improved policies and procedures.The Surgical Business Analyst provides the Clinical Program continual financial and statistical data to review that support the program director, governance committee, surgical medical director and chiefs, and clinical. The Surgical Business Analyst is responsible for the oversight of the computer applications that support supply chain and inventory management systems.Position Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree; Healthcare Administration, Health Informatics or Business Administration with a healthcare focus
  • Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience in business or health related fields
  • A proven track record with building and maintaining cross-functional relationships is a necessity along with excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently.
  • Requires significant computer skills and expertise in various data management and report writing technologies and practices
  • Excellent organizational, prioritization and problem-solving abilities
  • Experience working in a complex environment
  • Ability to promote and manage change
  • Strong oral communication, critical thinking, job task planning and organizational skills
  • Working experience with clinical documentation and reporting systems
