
Accounts Payable Analyst

- Process purchase order (PO) and non-purchase order (non-PO) invoices in a high-volume environment, ensuring accuracy and timeliness
- Review invoices for accuracy including pricing, quantities, payment terms, and supporting documentation
- Verify and obtain appropriate authorization for non-PO invoices and cheque requisitions
- Reconcile vendor statements promptly, investigate variances, and provide clear, timely communication to vendors
- Build and maintain strong relationships with vendors, offering guidance on invoicing procedures as needed
- Research and resolve invoice discrepancies in collaboration with both internal teams and external partners
- Monitor and follow up on unapproved invoices with internal stakeholders to ensure timely resolution
- Prepare ad-hoc reports, assist with complex reconciliations, and support audits when required
- Contribute to the accounts payable month-end close, reporting, and other related activities
- Provide vacation coverage and assist with additional finance-related duties as assigned
- 3–5 years of accounts payable experience in a high-volume environment
- Experience using Oracle Fusion Cloud accounting software
- Familiarity with paperless AP processes
- Solid understanding of AP principles and practices
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills
- Strong written and verbal communication skills with a customer service focus
- Demonstrated commitment to accuracy and attention to detail
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to prioritize, multitask, and meet deadlines
- Collaborative team player who thrives in a fast-paced environment
- Background in the construction industry is considered an asset
- This is a full-time, permanent position based out of our Calgary head office: 5055 11th St NE, Calgary, Alberta
- Standard hours are Monday to Friday, 40 hours per week
