This diverse team of professionals works with more than 250 Indigenous peoples, groups and organizations across the country and shares a passion for learning and understanding their history, culture and contributions to our country. As a trusted advisor, you’ll provide expertise to empower Indigenous communities, organizations, businesses and individuals in navigating a dynamic social, political and economic environment.We are seeking a dynamic leader to spearhead management consulting engagements that empower Indigenous governments and enterprises. This is a unique opportunity to drive impactful change and contribute to the growth of Indigenous communities.ResponsibilitiesLead the planning and execution of management consulting projects, including business planning, feasibility studies, strategic planning, operational planning, and financial analysesIdentify creative solutions that enhance client value, ensuring their needs are met while fostering long-lasting relationshipsReview, design, and develop high quality deliverables including reports, presentations, and other documentsUtilize specialized knowledge to anticipate and address issues or risks, ensuring the highest quality of service for our clientsEngage with the local business community to explore development opportunities and lead the preparation and delivery of competitive proposalsMentor team members to achieve their professional and personal goals by setting clear expectations, providing constructive feedback, and conducting effective performance reviews * Maintain flexibility to travel to client sites as requiredSkills and Experience
  • Bachelor’s or master’s degree in business, economics, or another related field
  • Demonstration of advanced project management skills and tactics; certification in project management an asset
  • 5 or more years of management consulting experience in a client-service environment with a preference for experience with Indigenous Peoples, organizations, communities, or government
  • Proven people management, relationship building and leadership skills
  • Strong strategic planning and conceptual thinking abilities
