This role involves processing transactions, taking food and beverage orders, and maintaining a clean and organized work environment. You will also support operations at Bunkers, our on-course shop, ensuring golfers have access to snacks and refreshments while enjoying their game.Why Silvertip Resort

Key Responsibilities
  • Greet and assist customers warmly, creating a welcoming environment that encourages repeat visits.
  • Process customer orders and payments accurately using the Point-of-Sale (POS) system.
  • Serve food and beverages promptly and courteously, adhering to service standards.
  • Adhere to ProServe standards and all local alcohol service regulations, verifying identification and ensuring responsible service.
  • Provide attentive service at Bunkers, ensuring golfers have access to refreshments.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization in both the market and Bunkers, following health and safety regulations.
  • Conduct inventory counts and assist with restocking shelves and rotating products.
  • Routinely check product use-by dates, removing expired items and reporting discrepancies.
  • Address guest inquiries and concerns professionally, escalating issues when necessary.
  • Collaborate with kitchen staff and fellow team members to ensure smooth operations.
  • Inform guests about daily specials and promotions, encouraging sales.
  • Follow shift instructions, including cleaning, table setting, and collecting materials from other departments.
  • Assist in other areas of the Resort as needed.
  • Reconcile transaction lists from credit card machines with POS records.
  • Prepare deposit envelopes, record deposit amounts, and complete safe depository procedures.
  • Document and report incidents or accidents that occur during service.
Requirements
  • Eligible to work in Canada.
  • ProServe certification required (or willingness to obtain).
  • Ability to lift up to 50lbs occasionally, 30lbs frequently, and 20lbs constantly.
  • Previous experience in customer service, retail, or food & beverage preferred.
  • Strong customer service, teamwork, and communication skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
  • Comfortable working in a variety of indoor and outdoor conditions.
Duration: This is a Full-Time seasonal position, April to October.
