- Consistently provide a professional and friendly greeting, delivering proactive and engaging guest service
- Assist guests with menu knowledge in an informative and welcoming manner
- Support the team throughout service to ensure a seamless guest experience, including running food, refilling beverages, and resetting tables
- Maintain full knowledge of the beverage list, menu items, specials, and preparation methods
- Address guest concerns promptly and graciously, providing remarkable service recovery
- Be aware of and communicate dietary restrictions and allergies to the appropriate team members
- Stay informed on current promotions, programs and Hotel offerings
- Adhere to all service standards, safety, and sanitation procedures
- Completing additional tasks as assigned to contribute to overall guest satisfaction and team success
- A service-driven personality with experience in high-volume restaurant settings (preferred)
- Familiarity with OpenTable and Point of Sale system (an asset)
- Previous experience in a luxury hotel environment (an asset)
- Familiarity with wine, spirits, cocktails, and specialty coffee to support guest inquiries and enhance the front-of-house experience (an asset)
- Valid Serving It Right certification
- Strong communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills
- The ability to remain calm, courteous, and focused on guest needs in a fast-paced environment
- A team-oriented mindset and the ability to collaborate effectively with colleagues
- Proven multitasking abilities and the capacity to manage multiple priorities efficiently
- A high level of reliability, responsibility, and commitment to professional appearance and conduct
- Flexibility to work weekends, holidays, evenings, and rotating shifts as required
- Professional working proficiency in spoken and written English
- Constant standing and walking throughout shift
- Frequent climbing of stairs, ladders, and ramps
- Occasional lifting/carrying up to 30 lbs
- Occasional kneeling, pushing, and pulling
