Physicians will work within a collaborative environment, guided by trauma-informed and culturally safe practices, while helping to fulfill the hospital's mission: Providing Exemplary Care to NorthernersOverview:Successful candidates will provide on-site and/or remote care for a 4-bed dedicated child and adolescent unit & participate in Northeastern Ontario's Child and Adolescent Mental Health Regional Program. There is opportunity to participate in new program development within this program along with teaching and mentoring students and family medicine residents, through affiliation with the Northern Ontario School of Medicine.Remuneration:Fee-for-ServiceNorthern Specialist Alternate Payment PlanHOCC On-Call stipend.Incentives:Incentive package up to $60,000 over four years.Applicants are eligible for a repayable interest-free loan up to $150,000.Applicants can apply for the Ministry of Health Northern and Rural Recruitment and Retention Initiative (N3R).
