Job Title: Biztalk Developer
Location: remote (must be in Canada)
Contract Duration: May 26 - Dec 19, 2025 + 6 months extension
Pay: hourly; $75-95/hr based on skills and experienceJob Description: The EMR system will integrate with over 50 downstream systems. Many of these Integrations leverage the Enterprise Integration Platform, MS Biztalk. Use of Biztalk provides scalability, reusability and cost savings for interface development as Information from the old system and the new system will need to flow to each downstream seamlessly.Currently, the project is mid way thru build phase and wave 4 of site deployment. We are looking for Biztalk developer to implement interface between the new system and many ancillary systems. The Biztalk developer will redesign and re-analyzed each interface based on the interface specifications of the new system and target ancillary systems. Followed by redevelopment based on the establish architecture, development standard, and DevOps process.Services Required:
  • Overall Interface Development responsibilities associated with this specific work-package.
  • Analysis technical information and documentation from vendors
  • Work closely with the Integration Project lead to drive the day-to-day activities, as well as, ensure effective communication and escalation of risks and issues within the established project governance;
  • Create technical documentation and artifacts based on the project need and FH policies
  • Develop, test, and debug the interface per specification
  • Include but not limited to the report should also be the risks, considerations, constraints including any analysis
  • Support the general activities to progress the broader integration domain upon the request of the Integration Project Lead, as well as, the overall work stream PM and program leadership that includes but not limited to the following:
  • Work and collaborate with other stakeholder on status, risks and timelines
  • Attend project meetings
  • Participate in internal project meetings
  • Identify risks and issues and facilitate resolution
Qualifications:
  • Working Knowledge of HL7v2 is a must
  • Hands on development experience with Microsoft Biztalk is a must
  • Experience working at Fraser Health
  • Experience working on large health care integration initiatives/projects
  • Hands on development experience with .NET, C#, Visual Studio
  • Experience with Azure DevOp (On-Premise)
  • Experience with Software Development Life Cycle
  • Experience working with project stakeholders, including business stakeholder, project managers, and business analysts from teams
  • Experience to create technical project documentation
  • Knowledge of FHIR, API will be an asset.
  • Experience of working in a large team environment.
