- Responsible for providing support to our customers both internally and externally.
- Develops, recommends, and implements policies and procedures for investigating and evaluating new and existing customer creditworthiness and extending or revoking credit lines/limits.
- Coordinates with internal departments to resolve billing disputes that may affect the ability to collect receivables.
- Reviews and makes recommendations regarding bad debt or write-offs.
- Investigate and analyze credit risks, using available internet and credit agency tools and information.
- Recommends and implements credit extensions/revocations, and/or legal action where necessary. Develops and maintains relationships with outside credit agencies.
- Ensures adherence to procedures and internal controls to maintain compliance.
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or equivalent.
- A finance professional with 3+ years of specialized experience in credit and accounting.
- Strong financial analysis skills with the ability to read financials and ask questions about trends.
- Ability to engage with customers, understand business needs, and deliver effective solutions.
- Possess a solid understanding of balance sheets, profit and loss statements, cash flow, and other financial metrics.
- Should be proficient in Excel and other MS Office applications such as Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, and Microsoft Teams.
- Communicate and collaborate effectively while demonstrating strong attention to detail.
- Possess excellent time management and organizational skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently.
