
CMR Systems and Platforms Manager

- Act as the business owner for CMR systems and platforms, overseeing system builds, implementations, and integrations (notably Salesforce-based and Veeva Systems)
- Translate business needs into technical requirements, support the creation of technical documentation, and manage the process from requirements gathering through user acceptance testing (UAT) to launch.
- Liaise between business teams (medical affairs, medical excellence, clinical operations, customer care etc.) and IT, ensuring business requirements are clearly communicated and accurately implemented, and confidently push back on IT when needed.
- Support end-user training by developing materials and collaborating with training managers.
- Lead stakeholder engagement, consensus-building, and maintain regulatory compliance throughout the system lifecycle.
- Oversee project timelines, deliverables, and collaborate with cross-functional and global teams.
- Identify and resolve business risks proactively; take ownership of system builds, integrations, and ongoing operations.
- Champion continuous improvement by seeking new, innovative solutions to elevate efficiency and user experience.
- Robust experience with Salesforce and Veeva Systems; familiarity with CRMs in the pharmaceutical or healthcare sector is highly preferred.
- Prior Experience in commercial or medical excellence roles (FFE, medical information, customer care), or similar operational roles within pharma/healthcare, with a strong grasp of compliance, privacy, QA, and regulatory frameworks (Health Canada, IMC codes, GXP systems).
- Solid understanding of IT concepts (though not an IT role), with the ability to communicate efficiently with IT and assess technical feasibility.
- Proven project management abilities, detail orientation, and experience managing multiple stakeholders, including global teams.
- Accountability, agility to adapt quickly to changes, and capability to take bold decisions and calculated risks.
- Ability to simplify complex systems, delegate effectively, and empower others to take action.
- Bachelor’s degree in information technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field is required.
- Master’s degree in science, Engineering, Mathematics, Technology or Business (e.g., MSc, MASc, MEng, MMA, MBA) an asset.
- Experience in medical operations in medical, quality, or regulatory affairs is a plus; candidates from commercial/marketing backgrounds with strong operational understanding will also be considered.
