Position SummaryThis Teaching Assistant offers support for delivering an undergraduate course by assisting with marking assignments, meeting with students, and answering emails from students.
Position Requirements
- Must be a registered M.F.A, MA, or 4th-year student at the University of Regina.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Excellent time management skills and ability to meet deadlines.
- Ability to mark student assignments, including essays.
- Familiarity with UR Courses, APA, MLA, Chicago Citation and Turnitin are required.
- Preference will be given to senior undergraduate students or graduate students in MAP, Education, Arts, or students with related academic experience.
Pay Grade As Per CUPE 2419

Work HoursMAP 209 - Fall 2025 - This is an evening course scheduled from 19:00 to 21:45.The total number of hours for this position is flexible and will be determined by the instructor in consultation with the successful candidate, up to a maximum of 47 hours (equivalent to 1 hour per registered student). Any additional hours beyond 47 must receive prior approval from the Associate Dean (Undergraduate).
