Permanent positions we are looking to fillPosition 1: Mon-Fri 1530-2330
Position 2: Sat-Sun 1930-0730Responsibilities for Hospital Security Guard
  • Customer service duties like welcome, verify identity, and guide visitors
  • Access control duties ( Weapon Screening, Checking ids, dealing with contractors, liaising with the building management etc. )
  • Inspect security equipment and report any maintenance needs
  • Respond to incidents, provide first aid, and coordinate with emergency teams
  • Answer questions in person or by phone
  • Write incident reports and communicate security concerns
  • Ensure the protection of people, assets, and property
  • Deter criminal activity. Guards may be expected to engage in visible deterrence through their presence and by adhering to security procedures. security presence
  • Conduct Daily Reports and Incident Reports and send it via emails
  • Respond to various emergencies, such as fires, medical incidents, or security breaches
  • Monitor access of entryways and exit points
  • Conduct preventive surveillance rounds
  • Point of contact with authorities and emergency services
Qualifications for Hospital Security Guard
  • Be authorized to work in Canada
  • Hold a valid Manitoba security license
  • First aid certification an asset
  • Exceptional customer service skills
  • Proficient in basic phone & computer skills
