- Create and manage maintenance notifications and break-in work orders resulting from daily maintenance activities and ensure information is complete and timely.
- Review and monitor completeness of work order execution prior to closure. The service writer is to provide feedback to the execution team to improve quality of maintenance records.
- Responsible for planning, parts ordering and closing of all break-in work orders.
- Work with the maintenance lead and supervisor to ensure cores are documented and returned.
- Review compliance to maintenance schedule and provide support to achieve compliance targets.
- Enter and manage equipment-related information in SAP for the purpose of maintenance planning of break-in work.
- Participate in weekly maintenance compliance review and implementation of process improvement.
- Manage tool and support equipment condition, repair and allocation to ensure readiness for execution.
- Work with the maintenance planning team to analyze maintenance performance metrics.
- Responsible for the gathering and tracking the Component Change-out Sheets and to provide these to the planning team.
- Create and compile Task Lists and BOM’s for all break-in work and enter this into SAP task list library.
- A High school diploma, a Post-secondary diploma in business administration or maintenance preferred
- Certification and literacy in MS Office products (Word, Excel, Outlook, Power-point)
- Ability to communicate clearly and effectively both written and verbal, for conveying ideas, instructions, and information to colleagues, external parties, and management.
- Knowledge of digital tools and technology. Proficient with standard office software such as Microsoft Office. Knowledge of SAP maintenance systems.
- Ability to influence the views and behaviour of others through persuasion and encouragement and manage conflict or other sensitive issues tactfully and effectively.
- Ability to adapt behaviour to a wide range of people.
- Ability to efficiently manage time and prioritize tasks to ensure that work is completed effectively and deadlines are met.
- Ability to set priorities, plan the efficient use of resources, equipment and tools and to respond effectively to unforeseen events and achieve results in a timely, and cost-effective way.
- Ability to recognizing a problem; identify, prioritize, and reach logical conclusion, and decide on appropriate plan of action.
- Experience with SAP or similar CMMS with focus on maintenance and planning
- Experience with administrative support experience in maintenance planning
- Experience working in a remote Arctic operation with camp environment.
- Experience working in mobile equipment maintenance or maintenance planning
