- Support the Senior Advisor in managing existing client relationships.
- Conduct follow-ups, service requests, and regular client check-ins.
- Participate in client meetings, taking notes, preparing reports, and following up on action items.
- Assist in onboarding new clients and gathering KYC (Know Your Client) information.
- Prepare financial plans, insurance illustrations, and investment recommendations under supervision.
- Help analyze clients' financial situations (income, assets, liabilities, protection needs).
- Research and propose solutions for life insurance, living benefits, investments, and retirement plans.
- Run financial projections and scenario models.
- Maintain client files and ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.
- Help identify new business opportunities within the client base (cross-selling/up-selling).
- Support marketing initiatives and client appreciation events.
- Conduct prospecting and follow-up communications as directed by the Senior Advisor.
- Prepare proposals, presentations, and supporting materials for client meetings.
- Post-secondary education (Diploma or Degree) in Business, Finance, Commerce, Economics, or a related discipline.
- LLQP License (required) - sale of life, disability, critical illness, and health insurance.
- Mutual Funds License (IFIC or CSC) - preferred
- Certified Financial Planner (CFP®) - preferred or in progress, demonstrating a commitment to professional excellence in financial planning.
- Strong client service and interpersonal skills.
- Analytical and detail-oriented with strong financial acumen.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to handle confidential client information with discretion and professionalism.
