Our client is searching for the following permanent Developer to join their growing team.They require a Developer with experience in C++, C, Python, Capital Markets or Trading background.This role is Hybrid downtown Toronto 2-3 days per weekResponsibilities:Help grow the capabilities of the core trading platform and supporting applicationsAssist with internal and external client requests for data analyticsCollaborate with team members to streamline and modernize internal processes as neededMaintain internal SDLC for all internally developed applicationsResearch / POV modern technologies as needed to improve overall operating environmentSkills:Effective and efficient communication skills - both verbal and writtenStrong ability to multitask and prioritize competing interestsMaintains composure with a positive client friendly attitude during fast paced and stressful situationsComfortable working with various technology stacksAbility to problem solve technical issuesSelf-starter requiring minimal supervision with the ability to work independently and in teamsExperience:Good experience with RHEL and other Linux based operating systemsProficient in C++, C, Python, PHP, and Node.jsExperience with back-end, core development in low latency applications is preferredKnowledge of Canadian Capital Markets and trading practices an asset
