Position SummaryThe Executive Housekeeper position reports directly to the Director of Hospitality Operations and is responsible for leading, planning and managing all aspects of the housekeeping and public area spaces to ensure the highest standards of cleanliness, presentation, and service throughout the property.Duties and Responsibilities:Lead and manage the Housekeeping Team, including Assistant Housekeeping Managers, Housekeeping Supervisors, Office Administrators, Room Attendants, Room Attendant Specialists, Public Area Attendants, Delivery Attendants, Laundry Attendants, and Inventory AttendantsCoordinate with Maintenance and Front Office to address repair needs or special guest requestsWorks with the Engineering department to coordinate preventative maintenance, repairs, painting of rooms utilizing the Opera PMS systemCollaborate with the Homeowner Administration Manager to ensure homeowner needs and requests are handled promptly and professionally.Support the Director of Hospitality Operations in budgeting, forecasting, and cost control activities for the Housekeeping DepartmentOversee recruitment, training programs, and mentor Housekeeping leadership team to evaluate staff performance in line with company policies and service standardsConduct regular performance reviews, providing feedback, and facilitating ongoing training and development opportunitiesDevelop and implement cleaning procedures, checklists, and quality controls.Oversee departmental schedules for the Housekeeping, making adjustments as needed to meet operational and financial goalsMonitor and control housekeeping supply levels, ordering as needed while adhering to budgetary guidelinesEnsure adherence to health, safety, and sanitation standardsModels’ attention to detail and cleanliness throughout the resort propertyAll other duties as assignedQualifications:Strong leadership, organizational, and time management skillsExcellent communication and interpersonal abilitiesKnowledge of cleaning techniques, chemical handling, and safety protocolsProficiency in housekeeping systems and processes, scheduling tools, and inventory management softwareAble to lift, carry, move 11 to 29 pounds, frequently 30 to 49 pounds, occasionally 50 to 75 poundsCore Competencies:Attention to DetailService ExcellenceTeam LeadershipProblem-SolvingBudget & Resource ManagementEducation and Experience:Hotel Management, Hospitality, or related field preferredMinimum of 3-5 years in a leadership role in a hotel / resort operation, with a focus on knowledge of Housekeeping OperationsExperience with Opera Cloud PMS preferred and hotel operations experienceStrong skill level with Microsoft Office suite of products, particularly ExcelExperience developing and managing operational, and capital budgetsPassion for driving efficiency and profitabilityExcellent communication, organizational, interpersonal, and multitasking skillsExperience conducting interviews, orientating and training standards and practices, organizing and executing practices for retaining team members an assetG Class Driving License with a clean driving record
