
CNC Machine Operator

- Set up and operate CNC machinery, including Lathe and Milling machines for production.
- Read and interpret technical drawings to maintain required machine tolerances on parts.
- Modify and adjust CNC machining programs and offsets to meet drawing specifications.
- Use various precision measuring instruments to conduct First-off and in-process inspections.
- Replace tools and insets as needed based on in-process inspections.
- Make subassemblies using hand and power tools.
- Operate manual machines as required.
- Package and apply proper identification to machines parts for shipping.
- Follow standard work practices, method sheets, and instructions.
- Maintain good housekeeping and adhere to Lean Manufacturing principles and FEM requirements.
- Report equipment and tool malfunctions or damages to supervisor.
- Complete other production and tool
- Perform routine maintenance on CNC equipment to ensure optimal performance.
- Troubleshoot issues with machinery and make necessary adjustments or repairs.
- Assemble components as needed based on project requirements.
- Collaborate with team members to meet production goals and maintain quality standards.
- Complete other production-related tasks as directed by supervisor.
- Proficiency in reading and understanding blueprint drawings is essential
- Minimum 5 years prior CNC experience (Lathe and Milling machines)
- Ability to follow engineering instructions.
- Ability to use various measuring instruments and hand and power tools
- Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing principles
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Crane training and asset.
