If you're looking to play a key leadership role in a well-established yet evolving business, this is the perfect role for you.Key ResponsibilitiesAs the Operations Manager, you will lead the seamless coordination of the company's supply chain, logistics, and customer fulfillment efforts. Your responsibilities will include:Supply Chain & Inventory Management:
  • Manage inventory across purchasing, receiving, warehousing, and fulfillment
  • Ensure efficient restocking processes, accurate order processing, and cost-effective delivery
  • Liaise with domestic and international suppliers on shipping schedules and cost negotiations
Warehouse & Delivery Oversight:
  • Manage warehouse staff, scheduling, and order processing to ensure timely and accurate delivery of goods.

  • Ensures safety standards and efficiency in all back-end operations
Team Leadership & Development:
  • Oversee all HR functions across the organization, including hiring, onboarding, performance management, and compliance
  • Work with all divisions to build strong, motivated teams through coaching, training, and professional development
  • Ensure adherence to all employment regulations, health and safety standards, and internal policies
Customer Service & Complaint Resolution
  • Serve as the senior point of contact for escalated customer concerns and complaints
  • Investigate and resolve service issues with a focus on maintaining customer satisfaction and brand integrity
  • Work with teams across sales, delivery, and operations to ensure seamless end-to-end service
  • Implement proactive strategies to reduce complaints and improve service processes
Property & Facility Management
  • Manage day-to-day maintenance and upkeep of the retail showroom and warehouse facilities
  • Coordinate with external vendors for cleaning, HVAC, repairs, landscaping, and other building services
  • Monitor and manage building-related budgets, utility costs, and service contracts
  • Lease management for building tenants
Process Improvement & Reporting:
  • Identify operational inefficiencies and develop systems to improve workflows and reduce costs.
  • Track and report on key operational KPIs, providing insights to ownership.
QualificationsTo succeed in this role, candidates should demonstrate the following:
  • Education & Experience:
o A diploma or degree in Business, Operations Management, or Supply Chain is preferred.
o 5-7 years of experience in operations, logistics, or supply chain roles, ideally within retail or furniture environments. * Technical Skills:o Proficiency with inventory management systems and operational software (e.g., ERP systems).
o Familiarity with logistics, warehousing, and supply chain platforms is an asset. * Key Competencies:o Strong organizational, analytical, and leadership skills.
