- Attract, establish and build relationships with existing and new customers.
- The ability to execute customer discovery to determine needs and creative value-added solutions.
- Conduct needs analysis to identify client requirements.
- Develop and implement sales strategies to achieve quarterly and annual sales targets.
- Prepare and deliver engaging product presentations and demonstrations.
- Create detailed proposals and quotes that align with client requirements.
- Provide technical support during the sales process and assist in post-sales implementation.
- Understand and can effectively communicate the technical features and benefits of ITS products/services.
- Previous experience in the traffic or similar industry is considered a strong asset.
- Post secondary education in Technical Field or equivalent and/or Business Administration or equivalent is desired.
- Previous experience in office administration is an asset and experience with Microsoft office 365 operation system essential.
- Experience with Business to Business Sales and/or Customer Service and Support is desired.
- Industry certifications such as IMSA (International Municipal Signal Association) levels or other is an asset.
- Superior time management, organizational, multi-tasking and prioritization skills.
- Superior written and verbal communication skills with the ability to speak confidently in groups.
- Strong understanding of IT services, solutions, and technologies.
- Ability to convey complex technical concepts in a clear and concise manner.
- Demonstrates a high level of emotional intelligence.
- Proactive in identifying client challenges and proposing effective solutions.
- Strong relationship-building skills with clients and internal teams.
- Collaborative approach to working with cross-functional teams.
