- Machine setup for new product introductions;
- Process and machine troubleshooting. Corrective action implementation;
- Shaping and welding production tooling;
- Assembling wooden checking fixtures;
- Documenting process and machine parameters;
- Executes maintenance work on machines with hydraulic, mechanical and pneumatic systems;
- Follow all safety protocols and contribute to a safe working environment;
- Support continuous improvement initiatives;
- Executes some minor welding, brazing, plumbing and electrical work when required;
- Responds to urgent equipment breakdown calls out of regular work hours (power failures, alarm failures, etc.);
- Works generally in a standing position, including frequent difficult positions (such as climbing, bending, crouching, etc.), physical effort is usually required (such as tightening, moving, lifting, etc.).
Each application meeting the following criteria will be carefully analyzed by our team.
- 5 + years of experience as a licensed millwright, millwright apprentice, or equivalent ;
- Mechanical or related technical training or equivalent;
- Ability to read drawings, follow sequential operations and use instrumentation as indicated in a manual;
- Knowledge of health and safety rules, ability to use an overhead crane and operate a Lift Truck and scissor lift and ease to work with heights;
- Ability to work as part of a team;
- Manual dexterity;
- Initiative;
- Ability to perform tasks of various complexities;
- Ability to on a rotating day and afternoon schedule.
